Tucked - Away Paradise in Guangzhou: A Summer Retreat Worth the Trip!
Let me tell you, I booked this guesthouse just for its windows! And let me say, the view of endless greenery instantly cools off all the summer heat! Imagine having a perfect backdrop for photos, being pet-friendly, and even having a mountain spring pool for soaking. It's like a dream come true!
Located in Conghua District, Guangzhou, it's just a 1-2 hour drive from Guangzhou or Shenzhen. The guesthouse itself is absolutely stunning, with every room beautifully designed. The lush greenery and pendant fans in every corner give off a strong Southeast Asian vibe, like you're in a tropical paradise.
The rooms are cozy and full of atmosphere. We opted for the Sunlight Room, and when we opened the curtains, we were greeted by the sight of courtyard trees bathed in sunlight. It was so relaxing, as if we were staying in a Balinese villa. The room was well-equipped, with a minibar for us to enjoy drinks at any time.
There are plenty of activities to keep you entertained. The guesthouse has a café, gym, library, craft room, and a meditation room. You can join various fun events like afternoon tea in the sun, hiking, painting, insect-making crafts, barbecues, and more. In the evening, you can soak in the private hot spring, listening to the rustling of leaves and enjoying your holiday in peace. The guesthouse is also pet-friendly, so your furry friends can run around and have fun in the common areas.
The food is delicious too. The rice noodle soup for breakfast is amazing, and you can dine at the guesthouse all day. The owner's special clay-roasted coffee, served in handmade ceramic cups, gives off a Japanese vibe.
There are suites with karaoke, swimming, table football, and mahjong facilities, perfect for team-building activities and parties. If you're looking for more adventure, there are nearby attractions like jungle off-roading, kayaking, and Conghua International Circuit. Nature lovers can visit the Liuxi River National Forest Park.
So if you're up for a rejuvenating retreat, this guesthouse is definitely worth a visit!
