A Hidden Gem Near West Lake: My Ultimate Weekend Escape

I've visited this incredible hotel by West Lake three times now, and I finally understand what it means to be instantly captivated and to leave all worldly worries behind. With its traditional blue bricks, black tiles, and lush greenery, the atmosphere is incredibly serene and elegant. It's the perfect spot for a relaxing two-day weekend getaway! I honestly don't want to check out!

The hotel's fantastic location is just a 10-minute walk from West Lake, making it super convenient for evening strolls after dinner. It's also very car-friendly, with no hassle for those driving in. From parking, shuttle service, and check-in to the warm reception, the service here is exceptional—truly top-notch!

The rooms are nestled among the mountains and trees, offering a strong sense of seclusion. The room design is exquisite and full of style. The large floor-to-ceiling glass windows allow you to wake up to a sea of greenery. It's so soothing for both the eyes and the soul, and all the work-related stress seems to melt away. Each room comes with its own garden courtyard and balcony. Sitting on the balcony, sipping tea (the water is fetched fresh from Hu Run Spring), it's just bliss! I also recommend the popular new Chinese-style cheongsam for photography—it's perfect for taking amazing pictures!

Every detail in the room is well thought out and considerate. Smart home devices, makeup remover towels, Dyson hair dryers, Marshall speakers, and more—you'll feel right at home, if not more comfortable!

The hotel also boasts a wealth of entertainment facilities. You could easily spend a whole day without ever leaving the premises! There's a tea room, a study, a restaurant, a swimming pool, and even a lawn for weddings.

The restaurant offers a semi-buffet with a wide variety of fresh dishes. You won't get bored even if you eat here for several days. The freshly squeezed juices are delicious, with a pure, natural taste. In the evening, taking photos by the pool while enjoying the fresh air is incredibly photogenic. As the sun sets and the mountain scenery changes with the water reflecting the afterglow of the sunset, every photo you take looks perfect without any editing.
